We’re John and Chris — husbands, dog dads, parents, and partners in life for over two decades.

We first met in 1998 while serving in the U.S. Air Force. At the time, John was stationed at Luke AFB in Arizona, and Chris was stationed at Offutt AFB in Nebraska. That connection turned into a lifelong love story, and we were officially married on February 20, 2014.

John is originally from Omaha, Nebraska, and works as a U.S. Army Civilian. Chris is from Long Island, New York, and works as a Customer Service Supervisor for a major U.S. airline and an author—you can find the link to his work at the top. We now live together in Omaha, Nebraska—close to family and always looking for our next travel adventure.

Together, we’ve built a life filled with shared memories, spontaneous shopping trips, pool days, and a deep love for storytelling. Our favorite vacation spot is Hawaii, our signature meal is chicken marsala, and our dog Ryder keeps us smiling — especially when he tilts his head like he’s in on the conversation.

We also share three wonderful children and four grandchildren who bring so much joy and perspective into our lives.

Movies are a big deal around here: John introduced Chris to The Devil Wears Prada, and Chris brought A Fish Called Wanda into the mix. Our taste is as eclectic as our life — full of personality, humor, and heart.
